DESIGN

The PZ6-level Poly-Zhaust is markedly different from all previous generation products. It is available in either a vibration weld or unstressed-clip configuration to ensure physical ruggedness and ease of assembly.

All necessary fixings and dimensions have been optimised to ensure optimal thermal transfer, using ANSYS modelling. In addition, FEA and MOLDFLOW analyses have allowed for massive scope in modelling the physical stress that the casing can withstand.

Finally, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) techniques have been used to model flow through the muffler, enabling performance and acoustic optimisation.
